1 Corinthians 5:12-NLT - It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning.
Wisdom: Many Christians believe it is their "job" to pass judgment on the unsaved. It isn't. The above verse clearly shows that the Lord expects us, the Body of Christ, to judge one another. Why? Because once saved, we know what is and isn't acceptable. However, we all will fall every now and then. The key is, those of us who are strong in the spirit are to correct those in error. Do so in love. It is disturbing how many of us condemn the unsaved and don't tolerate them (and of course we aren't to be approving of their sin either), but we are so accepting of all of the chaos and blantent sin inside the church (Body of Believers). Get out the mentality of telling people they are going to hell, and focus on rebuking your fellow sisters and brothers in Christ. Jesus will judge the unsaved. He does not need our assistance in that.
It is easy to play judge but you need to remove yourself from the throne that is not your seat to occupy. Instead, be obedient and correct, in love, and uplift your sisters and brothers in the Lord.
Prayer: Lord God, please help us to remain humble and always strive to please you and not self. Please help us keep our mouths shut when we attempt to condemn the unsaved. Remind us that it is Your will for us to judge each of us who are a part of Your Body and to lead the unsaved to know and accept You as their Lord. In Jesus Name, amen.

Hey.... great post... I believe v. 13 tells us that Jesus is the judge of unbelievers and not we, the saved and that we still need to remove the evil from among us. It's the evil that's ripping the believers up. The believer that is weak is deceived by the adversary. I learned a series of questions a while ago to help me know the difference between God and the adversary when speaking to us. I'll go over those questions some day to help those who need it!
13 God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, "You must remove the evil person from among you."
