22Then they came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to Him and begged Him to touch him. 23He took the blind man by the hand and brought
him out of the village. Spitting on his eyes and laying His hands on him, He asked him, "Do you see anything?" 24He looked up and said, "I see people—they look to me like trees walking." 25Again Jesus placed His hands on the man's eyes, and he saw distinctly. He was cured and could see everything clearly. 26Then He sent him home, saying, "Don't even go into the village."~Mark 8:22-26
Daily Reflection: Who is in your inner circle?
Daily Inspiration: You may have friends you have known since childhood. However, years is never a reason to continue to keep certain people to close. You should not have close friends that are unbelievers. Also, did you know that even all believers shouldn't be so close to you either? Don't let the fact that someone says they are a believer in Christ Jesus be the reason they are in your inner circle. If you have friends who have weak faith, you need to keep your distance from them as well. Why? Because words have power, so if you have people you confide in, whose faith is weak, what do you think they will feed you? How will negative comments effect your mind and decisions? Anyone can praise and speak good when all is well. But how many people exhibit that same faith when your world, or their's, starts to crumble (so to speak)?
Please meditate on the above scripture. Some saved people (as the man in the scripture that Jesus took by the hand)still have their eyes focused on the things of this world (people, places and things....i.e., the trees). You need to surround yourself with people who are focused on JESUS at ALL times. People who do not look at the situation at hand. But people who focus on the TRUTH and PROMISES of the Good Lord ABOVE. Never confide in people who have several stations programmed on their speed dial (double minded people). Surround yourself with people who have their eyes and mind(heart) tuned into (in sync with) JESUS (The Word), only. Amen.
