13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom,
the man who gains understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
PROVERBS 3:13-15 (NIV)

Today's WisdomWisdom will save your life.......Money will not.  Choose wisely, because you can only love One.

Daily Word - January 15, 2010

Reckless words pierce like a sword,

but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
Proverbs 12:18 (niv)

Daily Reflection:    Do you think before you speak? Or do you speak as the thoughts arrive?

Daily Inspiration:  The best way to determine if what you are about to say is helpful or not is like this - Will this uplift or belittle. Make them smile or frown? "Speak to people the way you want to be spoken to. If it isn't pleasing, and only teasing, don't release (from your mouth). "Don't demand respect, if you aren't giving it". Amen.

".......,fools hate knowledge"~Proverbs 1:22
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." ~JOHN 14:6

Daily Word - January 13, 2010

Without wood a fire goes out;

without gossip a quarrel dies down.
Proverbs 26:20 (niv)

Daily Reflection:  Do you sometimes find yourself getting involved in negative chatter?

Daily Inspiration:  Everything does not require a comment. The best way to shut down a miserable person is with silence. "If you don't have anything nice to say,
simply smile, and keep it moving." Amen.

Daily Word ~ Tuesday ~ January 12, 2010

15 "The leech has two daughters.

'Give! Give!' they cry.
"There are three things that are never satisfied,
four that never say, 'Enough!'
16 the grave, the barren womb,
land, which is never satisfied with water,
and fire, which never says, 'Enough!'

Proverbs 30:15-16 (niv)

Daily Reflection:  Are you a giver or a taker? Are you satisfied or do you believe abundance equates satisfaction?

Daily Inspiration:  If you want true satisfaction, try giving to others more than you give to yourself. We were not placed here for self gratification. You are a blessing, so bless others and watch how God blesses you in return. "No Good Deed Goes Unrewarded." Amen.
